The Télécabine de Plan Praz whisks you to a heady altitude of 1,999 metres at Plan Praz. The view from here is spectacular and a busy restaurant makes the most of it. The Téléphérique du Brévent takes you to the 2,525-metre summit at Le Brévent is a short walk away and there is generally a queue and a short wait to ascend to the top.
The summit at Le Brévent also has a panoramic restaurant that is busy in the winter and less so in the summer. The view from here takes in the full Mont Blanc range on one side and the northern Alps on the other including the Cirque du Fer a Cheval.
