Chamonix offers a variety of accommodation options to suit all budgets and preferences. From luxurious chalets to budget-friendly hostels, there's something for everyone. In this article, we will explore the different areas of Chamonix and some of the best places to stay to make the most of your trip to this beautiful alpine town.
A wide variety of accommodation is available right in the centre of Chamonix. The only 5 star hotel in the valley is the Hotel Mont Blanc.
Luxury self catered apartments can be found in the centre next to the Aiguille du Midi cable car station at the Cristal de Jade apartments.
A series of smaller hotels like the Le Faucigny can be found near the tourist office or the on the river location of the Alpina.
Cheaper apartments and hotels can be found in the southern part of the valley at Les Houches. A car is required to get to Chamonix centre from Les Houches or in the high season a bus can be taken.
In the northern part of the valley Le Tines, the Excelsior Chamonix & Spa offers a swimming pool and great views back down towards Mont Blanc.
