Monte Carlo Rally 2019

Sébastien Ogier secured his sixth consecutive Rallye Monte-Carlo victory in a spellbinding final stage shootout above Monaco in the Alpes-Maritimes on Sunday afternoon. He fended off Thierry Neuville by 2.2s in the closest Monte Carlo finish in history. Ogier, whose home town of Gap in the Hautes-Alpes hosted the opening three days of the rally overcame the mixed conditions of snow, ice and dry asphalt in the French Alps that included the legendary Col du Turini.
